About This Access Site
Saquatucket Harbor Landing is a well-developed municipal boat ramp facility in Harwich Port offering excellent access to Nantucket Sound and the surrounding Cape Cod waters. The site features a paved two-lane ramp, large parking area accommodating over 100 vehicles, and is useable at all tides, making it convenient for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats of various sizes. The facility operates from 4am to midnight and includes amenities such as clean, handicapped-accessible bathrooms and showers.

The harbor entrance channel is maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers to a depth of six feet at low tide, providing reliable access for launching. Saquatucket Municipal Marina is a full-service facility offering additional services including transient slips with electricity and water, pumpout stations, and laundry facilities. This makes it an ideal staging point for exploring Nantucket Sound and accessing the nearby Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge, a protected area established for migratory birds. The ramp is located off Route 28 (Main Street) in Harwich, making it easily accessible for day trips or extended paddling adventures.
