The Saratoga access site on Millwood Lake in southwestern Arkansas provides a convenient boat ramp and amenities for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters. The site is located about 1 mile south of the town of Saratoga, off State Highway 32.
The boat ramp provides direct access to the Little River, which flows into the larger Millwood Lake. Millwood Lake is a 29,500-acre reservoir known for its excellent fishing opportunities, with largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish being popular targets. The Little River where the Saratoga access is located is typically calm and navigable for small, non-motorized craft.
Saratoga also offers a campground with 17 paved sites with water and electric hookups, as well as other facilities like flush toilets, showers, a fishing dock, pavilion, and bank fishing access. This makes it a convenient access point for those wanting to explore Millwood Lake and the surrounding waterways by boat or paddle craft.
