About This Access Site
Sardis Creek Park offers a convenient public boat ramp and access point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats on Lake Lanier, part of the Chattahoochee River system. The ramp features three concrete launch lanes, a fishing pier, and ample parking for vehicles and trailers.

This access site is located on the southeast side of Lake Lanier, approximately 30 miles north of the Buford Dam. The lake is known for its scenic beauty, with clear, aqua-blue waters surrounded by wooded shorelines. Paddlers and boaters can explore the lake's many coves, islands, and tributaries, including the Chattahoochee River itself upstream. The river in this area is relatively wide and slow-moving, making it suitable for a range of watercraft.

Sardis Creek Park is free to use and open to the public. Restrooms are available on site. While overnight camping is not permitted at the park, there is a reservable campground called Toto Creek Campground located within 10 miles. Visitors should check current water levels and conditions before launching, as lake levels can fluctuate.
