The Sayre Access is a Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) public boat ramp located in Sayre, Bradford County, offering convenient access to the Susquehanna River. The facility features a paved ramp and parking lot, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. To find it, take Bridge Street south toward the river bridge—the ramp entrance is on the left just before the bridge crossing.
The Susquehanna River at Sayre is a substantial waterway that has long been central to recreation and fishing in northeastern Pennsylvania. Paddlers should note that some river islands downstream (to River Mile 289) have unknown ownership with no stopping allowed. This is a solid put-in point for exploring the river and accessing both local paddling sections and longer downstream routes. Like many PFBC access points on the Susquehanna, no launch permit is required here, making it an accessible option for recreational boaters and paddlers.
