Scipio Creek Marina

**Location & Facilities**
Scipio Creek Marina is located at the north end of Market Street in downtown Apalachicola, offering public boat ramp access to the Apalachicola River and Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. The ramp accommodates vessels up to 30 feet in length. As the largest marine facility in the area, the marina provides deep-water access and is within walking distance of historic downtown Apalachicola's shops, restaurants, and attractions.

**Paddling & Boating Opportunities**
From this launch point, paddlers and boaters can explore the scenic Apalachicola River system, including access to Apalachicola Bay and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. Nearby recreation areas include St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge (12,492 acres across multiple islands and mainland tracts with excellent fishing opportunities) and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, one of the most productive estuarine systems in the Northern Hemisphere. The marina also offers boat rentals and transient docking for those wanting to extend their stay.
