About This Access Site
Seminole Lodge is a public boat access point on Lake Seminole in Jackson County, Florida. This non-reservable recreation area provides a launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats accessing the lake. The site is part of the Lake Seminole project, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility originally authorized in 1946 as the Jim Woodruff Lock & Dam Project.

Lake Seminole is a large impoundment offering diverse paddling opportunities. Before launching, check current wind conditions and water levels, as these can affect paddling difficulty and safety. The lake also supports fishing activities, so be aware of other recreational users. For specific information about parking rules, facility hours, amenities, and current conditions, contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District or visit the official Recreation.gov website for Lake Seminole.
