September Drive provides boat ramp and bank fishing access to the Richland Creek arm of Richland Chambers Reservoir near Streetman in Freestone County. The facility includes a boat ramp with parking for approximately 30 vehicles and a restroom. There is no launch fee required, making it an economical option for paddlers and boaters exploring this section of the reservoir.
To reach September Drive from Kerens, take Texas 309 south, then turn west on FM 1393 for 2.5 miles before heading south on FM 2859. Follow the road across the Chambers Creek arm bridge to access the ramp. Paddlers should be aware that hydrilla (aquatic vegetation) is scattered along the south bank of the Richland Creek arm in this general area, which may affect navigation and water conditions seasonally. The site is well-maintained and suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboats launching onto the reservoir.
