Shad Landing Marina

Shad Landing Marina is a well-developed access point on the Pocomoke River in Snow Hill, offering excellent facilities for both motorized boats and paddlers. The marina features a maintained boat ramp, 23 boat slips with water and electrical hookups, lighted dock area, fuel station (ethanol-free unleaded available), pump-out station, and a transient pier. On-site amenities include a bait and tackle shop, boat rentals, and nearby camping facilities. The location serves as an ideal launching point for exploring the scenic Pocomoke River and its cypress swamp environment.

For kayakers and canoeists, Shad Landing is particularly appealing due to direct access to Corkers Creek and the Pocomoke Cypress Swamp—areas best explored by paddle-powered vessels. The Pocomoke River Canoe Company operates rentals at the site and can arrange guided tours. If you prefer hand-launching, the nearby Milburn Landing offers a softer launch point for canoes and kayaks.
