Shasta Lake (Centimundi)

The Shasta-Trinity National Forest's Centimundi Boat Ramp provides access to the upper Sacramento River Arm of Shasta Lake, a vast reservoir spanning over 30,000 acres. This ramp is a popular launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats exploring the lake's many coves and inlets.

The ramp features four paved launching lanes and a lighted parking area. Restrooms are available on-site. While the ramp is typically open year-round, it may be temporarily closed if the parking lot is full or if debris in the water makes launching hazardous. Boaters should check conditions before visiting, as the ramp's usability is dependent on the lake's water level.

For those looking to extend their time on the water, the Mariners Point Group Campground is located within 10 miles of the Centimundi Boat Ramp. Additionally, the area offers ample hiking and biking opportunities, including the Eastside Keswick Trails and the Sacramento River Rail Trail. An Activity Pass is required to use the Centimundi Boat Ramp, which can be purchased through Recreation.gov.
