Sheep Creek Dam offers a public boat ramp at the northern end of this 83-acre reservoir in Elgin, Grant County, North Dakota. The lake features a maximum depth of 34 feet and maintains a no-wake policy, making it an ideal destination for paddlers and boaters seeking a quiet water experience. The access site is located at 6834 74th St SW, Elgin, ND 58533 and includes a dock facility to complement the boat ramp.

This family-friendly site operates seasonally (May 1 – October 31) and provides ample amenities for a full day of recreation. Facilities include restrooms, a playground, picnic pavilion, and nearby grass camping sites (10 spaces available, no reservations required). The site is pet-friendly and free to access.
