Sheep Creek Lake offers a peaceful, scenic boat access point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats. The public boat launch provides direct access to the 81-acre reservoir, which is a popular destination for anglers and recreational boaters.
To reach the boat launch, take State Route 44 southeast from Manila, Utah for 7 miles, then turn northeast onto Forest Road 092 and continue to the Sheep Creek Bay Boat Ramp. The launch area provides a paved ramp for launching watercraft, as well as a parking lot. This site serves as the access point for boat-in reservoir campgrounds along the shoreline, offering a remote, off-the-grid camping experience on the water.
While the launch area has basic amenities, it maintains a quiet, natural atmosphere well-suited for a relaxing day on the lake. Boaters and paddlers can explore the calm waters of Sheep Creek Lake, which is stocked with trout, bass, and other game fish. Whether you're fishing, cruising, or simply enjoying the scenic mountain surroundings, the Sheep Creek Lake boat ramp provides a serene access point to this beautiful reservoir.
