Sheep Pond

**Location & Access:** Sheep Pond is located in Brewster on Cape Cod's Mid-Cape area. To reach the ramp, take Route 6 east to Exit 10, head north on Route 124 for 2.1 miles, then turn right onto Fishermans Landing Road. This paved boat ramp is situated on the southwestern end of the pond and is managed by the Town of Brewster (note that summer parking requires a town sticker).

**Facilities & Boat Type:** The Public Access Board maintains a paved launch ramp suitable for small boats and canoes, with approximately 15 paved parking spaces available. A handicapped-accessible fishing pier is also adjacent to the ramp, making this a welcoming location for various water users.

**Paddling Conditions:** As a Great Pond, Sheep Pond can experience choppy conditions, particularly in the afternoon when prevailing southwest winds align with the pond's orientation. Paddlers should be prepared for variable water conditions and plan accordingly. The site is ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and small motorized boats, though note that the Town of Brewster enforces a maximum outboard motor limit. Nearby recreation opportunities include Cape Cod National Seashore and Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge.
