Shell Beach is a public boat launch located on the western shore of Lake Verret in Assumption Parish, accessible via Shell Beach Road. This is a single-lane concrete ramp ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and smaller recreational boats. The launch provides direct access to Lake Verret's 60 miles of scenic, forested shoreline, making it a solid choice for paddlers exploring the lake's calm waters.

The ramp is one of three public access points on Lake Verret, positioned mid-lake on the west side. While less developed than the nearby Attakapas Landing (which features a double ramp and pier), Shell Beach offers a more intimate access point for those paddling the lake's quieter western reaches. The surrounding terrain is heavily forested and brushy, typical of the Louisiana Atchafalaya Basin ecosystem. Plan ahead for parking and facilities, as this is a smaller, simpler launch compared to other regional ramps.
