Signalness Lake

Located on the west side of Signalness Lake within Glacial Lakes State Park near Starbuck in Pope County, this public access point offers a convenient launch for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. The ramp accommodates boats up to approximately 12-18 feet, making it suitable for most recreational paddlers and smaller recreational vessels. There are no launch fees, though a Minnesota State Parks vehicle permit may be required to access the site.

**Important restriction:** Electric motors only are permitted on Signalness Lake, making this an ideal destination for those seeking a quieter paddling experience. Minnesota residents can access the lake year-round for fishing and recreation. The west-side location provides straightforward public access for launching and retrieving boats.
