**Location & Access:** Skookum is situated on the Pine River near Luther in Lake County, Michigan. To reach the site, take US-23 north to Standish, turn east on Cedar Street, then continue on Pine River Road for approximately 7 miles to the MDNR sign marking Wigwam Access and Skookum. There are both north and south access points available on river right and left, respectively.
