Sligo Marina

Sligo Marina is a full-service boat launch facility located on Center Hill Lake where the Caney Fork River meets the impoundment. The marina offers a dedicated boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats of all sizes, along with additional amenities including covered and uncovered boat slips and nightly tie-up options. This is a convenient access point for paddlers looking to explore the wider, calmer waters of Center Hill Lake rather than the river itself.

The marina is situated in DeKalb County within the scenic Cumberland Plateau region of Tennessee. Nearby recreation opportunities include Edgar Evins State Park and the Joe L. Evins Appalachian Center for Crafts. Note that the facility is non-reservable and operates as a day-use and overnight boat storage facility. For paddlers interested in floating the Caney Fork River itself, be aware that much of the river corridor is private property; the Long Branch Recreation Area at the base of Center Hill Dam is noted as one of the few options for overnight access on the river.
