**Location & Access:** Snake Creek Boat Ramp is located 8 miles north of Columbia, Kentucky, in the headwaters of Green River Lake. From Columbia, take KY 55 North, turn right on KY 551, continue 2 miles on Snake Creek Road, then turn left onto the gravel access road. The site features a single-lane concrete boat ramp with a large gravel parking area suitable for trailered boats.
**What to Expect:** This Green River Wildlife Management Area facility provides straightforward access to the upper reaches of Green River Lake, one of the largest recreation areas in the Louisville District with 8,210 acres of water and 147 miles of shoreline. The lake offers an average depth of 50 feet and spans 28 miles, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. As one of 12 boat ramps around the lake, Snake Creek is a good option for accessing the northern portion of the water body.
