Sockeye Lake

The Sockeye Lake boat ramp at Pine Point in Becker County offers public access for kayakers, canoeists, and trailered boats. The ramp features a gentle to moderate grade suitable for launching most recreational vessels. Be aware that ruts have developed around the ramp due to drainage runoff from the parking area, and some shoreline erosion is visible from wave action. There are no launch fees unless a vehicle permit is required.

The access area is located near Shannon Creek Campground, which offers additional amenities including campsites, drinking water, picnic sites, and vault toilets. Note that launch access may be limited to registered campers during certain times of year, so it's worth checking ahead if you're planning a day trip.
