Somers

Located at the north end of Montana's largest freshwater lake, the Somers access site offers a well-maintained concrete boat ramp ideal for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger recreational boats onto Flathead Lake. The facility features a single-lane concrete ramp, an associated dock, ample parking for vehicles and trailers (up to 35 feet), and an ADA-accessible restroom. This is a day-use-only facility.

Flathead Lake is a large, deep glacial lake offering calm waters suitable for paddlers of varying skill levels, though conditions can change with wind. The Somers location provides easy access to the northern portion of the lake and is situated in a peaceful community setting. The nearby swimming beach and scenic surroundings make this a popular summer destination, and the site's reliable infrastructure makes it convenient for both casual paddlers and boaters planning longer excursions on the lake.
