About This Access Site
South Holiday Park provides convenient public access to Benbrook Lake's Clear Fork Trinity River area on Fort Worth's west side. The facility features three boat ramps with a total of four lanes and parking for approximately 75 vehicles, making it well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. A $5 day-use vehicle fee and $5 boat launch fee apply. The park is located off U.S. Highway 377, about 3 miles south of Interstate 20 (take Exit 429A and follow signs to Stevens Road and Lakeview Road).

The open, shallow shoreline here is popular for multiple water activities and is particularly attractive for sailboarders due to prevailing southwesterly winds. Note that swimming is prohibited near the boat ramps. The lake's scenic setting in rolling hills and prairie countryside offers good opportunities for paddling and fishing. While winter closures occur from October 1 through March 31, the site provides a reliable access point during the active season for exploring Benbrook Lake's west side and lower Clear Fork Trinity River area.
