The South Lost Lake Road boat ramp in Beaver Dam provides public access to Lost Lake, a 539-acre lake with depths up to 20 feet. The single concrete/rock ramp is suitable for jon boats and bass boats, making it accessible for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. A gravel parking lot accommodates 10-12 vehicles with boat trailers, with additional parking available along the road nearby.
Facilities at this access site include a picnic pavilion with two tables, a grill, trash receptacles, and a restroom. Please note there is no potable water or electric service available. The Lost Lake camping area is located just north of the boat ramp, making this a convenient spot for paddlers planning multi-day trips. Lost Lake supports a healthy fishery with populations of musky, panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, making it popular with anglers as well as paddlers.
