About This Access Site
South Lotus Lake Park is a public access point on the south side of Lotus Lake in Chanhassen, accessible via State Highway 101. The seven-acre community park features a boat launch suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats, with parking available for vehicles and trailers. The park also offers a playground, open field, tennis courts, and shore fishing access, making it a well-rounded destination for paddlers and families.

Lotus Lake supports healthy populations of Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Black Crappie, and Yellow Perch, offering good fishing opportunities alongside paddling. Most standard recreational boats (12-18 feet) can be launched here. Check with the City of Chanhassen regarding any vehicle permit requirements and current access conditions before your visit.
