South Twin Lake

South Twin Lake is a 106-acre lake in Trego, Washburn County, offering a public boat ramp on Twin Lake Road on the north side of the lake. The lake has a maximum depth of 29 feet and very clear water, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Additional carry-in access is available off Dam Lane on the south side of the lake, providing an alternative launch point for paddlers. The boat ramp is typically open from March 1 through October 31.

The lake supports a good fishery with panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, making it popular for both recreational paddling and fishing. The clear water conditions and moderate size make South Twin Lake an accessible destination for paddlers of various skill levels.
