South Twin Lake is a 106-acre lake in Polk County near Amery, Wisconsin, offering a public boat ramp on the north side via Twin Lake Road. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 29 feet and features very clear water, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. An additional carry-in access point is available off Dam Lane on the south side of the lake for paddlers preferring a quieter launch option.

The lake supports a healthy fishery including panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, attracting anglers alongside recreational paddlers. Boat launches are typically open from March 1 through October 31. This is a moderately sized, accessible lake ideal for day trips and recreational paddling, with good water clarity for navigation and enjoyment.
