About This Access Site
Located at 4800 Lemon Bay Drive in Venice, this ramp provides access to Lemon Bay and connects to Gulf of Mexico waters via Venice Inlet. The facility features a single concrete launch lane in good-to-excellent condition with both launch and staging docks, making it suitable for motorboats and larger vessels. A parking area is available for boat trailers.

**Important Note for Paddlers:** This ramp is designated for motorized boats only. Kayakers, canoeists, and paddleboarders are **not permitted to launch from this boat ramp**. If you're planning a paddling trip on Lemon Bay, consider alternative access points such as Indian Mound Park in nearby Englewood, which specifically accommodates hand launches for canoes and kayaks. Access requires a membership through the South Venice Boat Entry Team (SVBET); memberships can be purchased at their temporary mobile office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (9 a.m.–1 p.m.) at the same address.
