Spirit River Flowage is a 1,220-acre lake in Lincoln County near Tomahawk, Wisconsin, offering public boat access via this ramp. The flowage has a maximum depth of 25 feet and provides a substantial body of water suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating. This access point is one of several public landings on the lake, making it a convenient entry point for exploring the water.
The flowage supports diverse fish populations including musky, panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers. Paddlers should note that the lake has both open water areas and narrower sections, with some portions only 450 feet wide. Before launching, check current conditions and wind direction, as conditions on larger flowages can change quickly. Additional public boat landings are available at other locations on the lake if you prefer alternative access points.
