The Spirit Lake boat ramp provides public access to the 23-acre Spirit Lake in Evanston, Utah. This peaceful lake is part of the Burnt Fork drainage and offers opportunities for fishing, boating, and other water recreation.
The boat ramp is free to use and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no reservations or fees required. Two nearby campgrounds, Hoop Lake Campground and Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground, offer overnight accommodations for those looking to make a longer trip.
For kayakers and canoeists, the relatively small size of Spirit Lake makes it an accessible and relaxing paddle. Motorized boats can also launch from the ramp, though the lake's size may limit larger vessel use. Anglers will find the lake stocked with various sport fish species. Visitors are advised to check current conditions before heading out, as wind and weather can impact the lake.
