Sportsman's Landing of Bayou Corne

**Location & Access:** Sportsman's Landing is located in Belle Rose, Assumption Parish, on Bayou Corne where LA Highway 70 crosses the waterway. To reach the site, proceed east on LA Hwy 70 past Lake End Park and Lake Palourde, following the levee for approximately 15 miles.

**Facilities & Conditions:** The landing features double concrete ramps in good condition, making boat launching convenient for kayaks, canoes, and larger vessels. The site provides ample parking and offers safe, accessible water entry. Be aware that water levels can fluctuate seasonally—during high water periods or flooding, the ramp may be affected, so it's worth confirming conditions before your trip.

**On the Water:** Bayou Corne is a shallow, flat waterway typical of coastal Louisiana's grass-dominated bayou systems. No-wake zones are enforced in some areas, so exercise caution and follow posted regulations. The site provides access to Verret Grassy Palourde, a scenic area suitable for paddling and fishing.
