About This Access Site
**Location & Access**
Spring Lake (North) is located near Manito in Tazewell County, Illinois, approximately 12 miles south of Pekin via the Manito Blacktop. The boat ramp is conveniently situated only about 50 feet from the parking area via a concrete sidewalk, making it easily accessible for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. The north lake features one gravel and one concrete launching ramp to accommodate various vessel types.

**Boating Information & Amenities**
Spring Lake enforces a 25-horsepower motor limit, making it ideal for paddlers and small boaters seeking a more peaceful experience. The lake is part of a larger complex with three total useable ramps across the north and south sections, providing flexibility for access. Basic amenities are available on-site, including accessible vault toilets and a shelter in the North Park. While no fuel or services are directly available at the ramp, camping and food options can be found nearby. Note that underwater springs exist in the lake, so exercise caution when boating, particularly during ice fishing season.
