Spring Lake South is a paved boat ramp located in Amherst, Portage County, with a 6% slope and adequate launch depth (>3 ft) suitable for various watercraft. The facility includes a boarding dock and parking for 8 car/trailer units. A $5 daily launch fee or $20 seasonal pass is required—citations of $100 are issued for unpaid use.

**Water Conditions & Boating Restrictions**
Spring Lake is a small, shallow 8-acre lake with a maximum depth of 24 feet. **Electric motors only are permitted; motorboats are prohibited.** This makes it an ideal destination for kayakers, canoeists, and paddle-powered boaters seeking a calm, protected paddling area. The lake supports healthy populations of northern pike, largemouth bass, and bluegill, making it popular with anglers as well.
