Spring Park

Spring Park provides boat access to Lake McConaughy, a large recreational reservoir in the Nebraska Panhandle near Belmar. This is a developed access point suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Before launching, check the current lake elevation with the Visitor's Center, as the ramp's usability depends on water levels—the lake must be sufficiently full to allow safe boat launches. As a general rule, plan for an additional 3-4 feet of clearance beyond the ramp's end elevation for safe operation.
