About This Access Site
Springs Park offers a convenient public boat launch on Fishing Creek Reservoir in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The access area features a two-lane boat ramp with a floating courtesy dock, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boats. The facility is located off SC Highway 200 on the south end of the reservoir and is owned and managed by Duke Energy.

Fishing Creek Reservoir is a substantial impoundment spanning 3,431 acres with approximately 85 miles of shoreline, making it ideal for extended paddling trips. The reservoir reaches depths of around 100 feet and supports healthy populations of black crappie, striped bass, largemouth bass, bream, and catfish. With three boat ramps available on the reservoir and five fish attractors, the area provides ample opportunity for both recreational paddling and fishing. Springs Park is one of the designated fishing access locations on the reservoir.
