About This Access Site
Spruce Creek Park in Bellevue offers excellent public boat launch facilities with two concrete ramps suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The 43-acre park features a full-service boat harbor with 92 dock slips, modern amenities including restrooms, showers, and camping facilities. The boat ramp was recently replaced (completed Summer 2025), ensuring reliable access to both Spruce Creek and the Mississippi River.

**Important tidal consideration**: If launching from Spruce Creek Park, only use the ramp at high tide due to deep mud that makes the ramp unusable at low tide. Plan your trip accordingly and monitor tidal conditions before heading out. The park also offers shelters available for reservation, making it a good base for day trips or extended paddling adventures on this section of the Mississippi River.
