**Location & Access:** Located at 4863 E. Spruce Drive in Dunnellon, FL, Spruce Public Boat Ramp provides convenient access to the Withlacoochee River. The ramp offers paddlers and boaters a good launch point for exploring this scenic waterway in Citrus County.
**Paddling Opportunities:** From this launch, you can paddle north toward Dunnellon and the river's "backwaters" or south toward Arrowhead. This makes Spruce a versatile access point for day trips of varying lengths. Many paddlers use this ramp in combination with other nearby take-outs, such as the N Florida Avenue Boat Ramp (located 12196 S Williams Street), to plan one-way paddling routes. Note that idle speed regulations are in effect on this section of the river, making it a relatively peaceful paddling environment.
**Planning Your Visit:** This is a public facility that serves kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. For current conditions, hours of operation, and any access fees, contact Citrus County Parks & Recreation or check locally before your visit.
