Square Lake County Park

**Location & Facilities**
Square Lake County Park is a 25-acre regional park in Stillwater operated by Washington County. The park features a motorized boat launch with 12 trailer spaces, though paddlers can also access the water from the sandy beach area. An admission fee is required to enter the park, but there is no additional charge for using the boat launch. The facility includes wheelchair-accessible pathways from the launch area, restrooms, changing facilities, and a 950-foot sand beach.

**Water Access & Recreation**
Square Lake is known for having some of the clearest waters in the metropolitan region, making it suitable for boating, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. A fishing pier is located on the east side of the lake near the picnic area and beach. The lake supports good fishing opportunities, including trout. The park also sits along a county bike route and offers picnic areas with grills, making it a well-developed day-use destination for water recreation.
