Stahl Lake

Stahl Lake is a 141-acre lake located in Hutchinson, McLeod County, offering public boat launch access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The lake has a maximum depth of 37 feet and provides a scenic paddling environment. The boat ramp can accommodate 12-18 foot boats, with some ramps capable of handling larger vessels. There are no launch fees unless the site is located within a park requiring a vehicle permit.

The access point serves as a gateway to exploring Stahl Lake as well as connected waters including Popp Slough and French Lake. The area is situated near the Litchfield Wetland Management District, making it an excellent location for paddlers interested in wildlife viewing and wetland exploration.
