About This Access Site
Star Lake is a 1,219-acre lake in Vilas County with a maximum depth of 68 feet, offering good depth for boating and fishing. The access point is located at Two Lakes Campground near Drummond, which provides a paved boat ramp for easy launching of kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. A $5 daily launch fee applies (free with campground reservations), and day-use access is available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $5.

The lake supports a healthy fishery including musky, northern pike, walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and panfish. From Drummond, follow Forest Road 213 southeast for 2 miles, then turn right (south) onto Forest Road 214 and continue 0.5 mile to reach the campground and ramp. National Scenic Trail.Facilities
The campground has drinking water, vault toilets and a dump station for RVs. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and grill.Natural Features
Two Lakes is adjacent to the Porcupine Lake Wilderness in
Chequamegon National Forest. The forest covers more than 1.5 million acres of Wisconsin's Northwoods.

Some of the Porcupine Lake Wilderness contains rolling hills covered with oak, maple, hemlock and white pine. The remainder of the area is fairly flat.
