About This Access Site
Starkey Marina provides a convenient public boat ramp access point to Beaver Lake, a sprawling 28,000-acre reservoir in the Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas. The ramp is located just one mile from the Starkey Campground, offering easy access for campers and day-use visitors.

Beaver Lake is a popular destination for fishing, with abundant populations of largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, and other game fish. The White River, which feeds the lake, is also renowned for its excellent trout fishing, with guided float trips launching from the boat ramp below Beaver Dam. Kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats will all find the calm, scenic waters of Beaver Lake well-suited for their activities.

While the marina offers boat rentals, including pontoon boats and fishing boats, paddlers are welcome to launch their own non-motorized craft from the public ramp. Facilities at the Starkey Campground include a dump station, showers, and a playground, providing basic amenities for visitors. Prospective campers should check the reservable status and availability through the Recreation.gov website or by contacting the campground directly.
