About This Access Site
Stockton Park offers convenient public access to Stockton Lake via a boat ramp located just south of Stockton in Cedar County, Missouri. The ramp provides a straightforward launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats accessing the 24,900-acre lake created by the Army Corps of Engineers dam on the Sac River. The scenic Ozark setting features nearly 300 miles of shoreline with calm water conditions suitable for paddling exploration. To reach the ramp, take Highway 39 South from Stockton for 0.8 miles, turn left on State Highway RB for 0.5 miles, then turn right and continue 0.1 miles into the park.

Paddlers launching here can explore the upper portions of the Sac River system and enjoy leisurely water exploration with good visibility. The area is popular for fishing, boating, and water sports. Note that water levels can fluctuate seasonally, which may affect ramp usability during low-water periods. The site is part of a larger park facility with camping available. For current conditions or specific questions about water levels and ramp accessibility, contact the park at 417-276-3113.
