Stoneboro Launch

The Stoneboro Launch provides public access to Sandy Lake, a 150-acre recreational lake in scenic Mercer County, Pennsylvania. This is a dedicated boat ramp facility offering convenient launch and recovery for kayaks, canoes, and motorized vessels. The launch area features a multi-lane ramp designed to accommodate multiple boats, making it suitable for both day-trippers and larger groups.

Sandy Lake is a popular destination for paddling and fishing. Note that the lake has special boating regulations—non-powered vessels are permitted, making it an excellent choice for paddlers seeking a quieter, motor-free experience. The facility includes vehicle parking and trailer parking spaces. If you're planning an extended visit, mooring spaces are available through the associated marina (May 1–October 31).
