Strawberry Lake

Strawberry Lake Recreation Area provides public boat ramp access on the east side of this 144-acre lake in Carbury, Bottineau County. The recreation area is well-developed with facilities including a fishing pier, picnic area, and vault toilets. Drinking water is available from two wells at the site. The lake has a maximum depth of 21 feet and is situated in a scenic 500-acre watershed featuring mostly deciduous forest.

**Important Boating Restrictions:** Gas-powered motors are prohibited on Strawberry Lake, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and other non-motorized paddlers. The lake is stocked annually with rainbow trout. Beyond water access, the recreation area offers 18 miles of multi-use, non-motorized trails for hiking and exploring. Camping is available with self-registration, and group camping areas are offered for larger parties.
