Sugar Ridge Fish & Wildlife Area offers paddlers and boaters access to East Twin Pit, one of numerous lakes and pits within this 8,500-acre reclaimed mining area near Winslow in Pike County. The site features a boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats. **Important motor restriction**: Only electric motors with a maximum 12-volt capacity are permitted on the water. Be sure to use designated parking areas when launching.
This Fish & Wildlife Area encompasses six separate areas with approximately 100 pits and lakes, making it a diverse destination for paddling and fishing.
