Sunapee State Park offers a convenient public boat launch for accessing Sunapee Lake, one of New Hampshire's premier boating destinations. Located in Newbury off Route 103, this ramp is one of four public launch points around the lake, making it an excellent option for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The launch provides straightforward water access to the expansive lake, which offers excellent recreational paddling opportunities across its scenic waters.
Amenities at this location include trailer parking available 24 hours a day at no charge. However, restrooms are not available at the ramp itself. For additional recreation, the site is adjacent to Sunapee State Beach and connects to the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway trail system, offering hiking opportunities for those looking to combine water and land-based activities. Camping is available nearby at the state park for extended visits.
