Sunset Park is located on the east side of Green Lake in Green Lake County, Wisconsin, off County Highway A. This is an excellent access point for novice boaters, featuring multiple launch ramps, plenty of parking, and a sandy bottom that makes launching easy. The park offers five ramps total, making it suitable for a variety of watercraft including kayaks, canoes, and small fishing boats.
**Launch Details & Requirements**
Note that accessing the main lake requires passing under a bridge, which is suitable for small watercraft and paddlers. An annual launching permit is required for vehicle parking at Sunset Park. Daily pass fees are available via a cash-only donation box, or annual permits can be purchased through the Town of Green Lake website at townofgreenlake.gov/licenses-permits/.
