**Location & Access:** Located in Townsend, Oconto County, this north-side access point provides public boat launch capability for Surprise Lake. The site offers a convenient entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters looking to explore the lake.

**Nearby Amenities:** Paddlers seeking overnight accommodation will find two reservable campgrounds within 10 miles: Richardson Lake Campground and Boot Lake Campground. Richardson Lake Campground, located about 8 miles away near Wabeno, offers 26 lakeside sites with a sandy swim beach and picnic facilities. Both campgrounds are accessible via Highway 52 and Forest Road 2880 from the Wabeno area.
