Swan Acre Drive is a well-developed public boat access on Shawano Lake in Cecil, offering excellent amenities for paddlers and boaters. This 30-acre facility features a 4-ramp boat launch with a center access pier, making it ideal for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The site includes approximately 800 feet of shoreline, a swimming beach with restrooms and showers, and parking for roughly 45 car/trailer units—convenient for day trips or extended outings.
Shawano Lake is a 407-acre water body with maximum depths reaching 82 feet, providing ample space for paddling and boating activities. The lake supports a healthy fishery including Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. Note that water clarity is low, which is typical for lakes in this region. Daily passes are available at the landing for those without an annual pass. This access point is maintained by the Town of Washington and is a reliable choice for launching into Shawano Lake.
