Located at Eagle Harbor on the bay side of the peninsula, this boat ramp provides convenient access to St. Joseph Bay in Gulf County. The facility includes restroom facilities and small picnic shelters, making it suitable for day-use outings. Paddlers can launch directly from the ramp area, and beach launches are also available depending on conditions.
St. Joseph Bay is well-suited for kayaking and canoeing, featuring plenty of clear, shallow water areas that are ideal for recreational paddling. The bay is known as a productive fishing area with opportunities to see red drum, flounder, speckled trout, and other species. The peninsula itself is recognized as one of Florida's premier outdoor destinations, offering excellent bird-watching opportunities with over 240 species documented in the park. The area becomes particularly popular during scallop season in late summer and early fall, so plan accordingly if visiting during peak times.
