This is a take-out access point on Big Creek, a tributary of the Pigeon River located in Haywood County, North Carolina. As a whitewater take-out site, this location is designed for paddlers finishing a run on Big Creek to exit the water. The site serves as the endpoint for whitewater kayakers and canoeists who have paddled downstream sections of this mountain stream. Being situated in the western North Carolina mountains, Big Creek offers the typical whitewater characteristics of Appalachian tributaries with gradient and flowing water conditions.
