About This Access Site
Tatman Run Recreation Area provides public boat access to Raystown Lake, Pennsylvania's largest lake entirely within the state at 8,300 acres. The ramp is conveniently located on the lake's southern end, easily accessible via Route 994 near Entriken in Huntingdon County. Beyond the ramp, the facility offers a sandy swimming beach, picnic areas, vault toilets, and drinking water, making it a good base for a full day on the water. The area has limited shade, so plan accordingly if spending extended time ashore.

This is one of eight public boat launches around Raystown Lake, offering paddlers and boaters a popular destination for recreation on a large, scenic impoundment. The lake is well-suited for kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and general boating. Nearby campgrounds and additional recreation areas provide options for overnight trips. For specific information about ramp conditions, hours, or any current facility updates, contact the official facility line at 814-658-3405.
