**Location & Facilities:** Taw Caw Creek is a two-lane public boat ramp located in Caw Taw Park, approximately 5 miles south of Summerton on County Road 38 (Wash Davis Road). The launch features a courtesy dock and gravel parking for about 30 vehicles and trailers, making it a convenient starting point for paddlers and boaters. Note that restroom facilities are not available on-site.
**Recreation Area:** The 36-acre Caw Taw Park surrounding the access point offers picnic shelters, fishing piers, a boardwalk, nature trails, and playground facilities. The ramp provides access to Lake Marion, a large reservoir offering diverse paddling and boating opportunities. The site is located near the Santee National Wildlife Refuge, an expansive 15,000-acre refuge established in 1942, which provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and exploration.
